Working principle of peristaltic pump
The peristaltic pump is like squeezing a fluid-filled hose with your finger, moving the fluid in the tube forward as your finger slides forward.
The peristaltic pump works the same way but with a wheel instead of a finger.
The fluid is pumped by alternately squeezing and releasing the elastic hose of the pump.
Just like squeezing a hose with two fingers, as the fingers move, negative pressure is created inside the tube, and the fluid flows.
Peristaltic pump is a section of the pump pipe between the two rollers to form a "pillow" shaped fluid.The volume of the "pillow" depends on the inner diameter of the pump pipe and the geometry of the rotor. The flow depends on the speed of the pump head and the size of the "pillow", the number of "pillow" produced by each turn of the rotor three parameters of the product. The size of the "pillow" is generally constant (except when pumping a particularly viscous fluid).
Take the rotor diameter of the same pump, the pump produced a larger "pillow" volume, the rotor of each turn of the flow volume is also larger, but the pulsation degree is also larger.
This is similar to the case of membrane valves. And produce a smaller "pillow" volume of the pump, the rotor of each turn of the fluid volume is smaller;
Moreover, the rapid and continuous formation of small "pillow" makes the flow of fluid more stable. This is similar to the way gear pumps work.
Through the introduction of peristaltic pump classification and working princIPLe, we can find that different types of peristaltic pump have their own characteristics, which also just meet the different needs of the industry.
Peristaltic pump use, but also for the development of modern industry, provides a great convenience.
